Milk Prices Rise

Capitol City residents are paying over $3 for a gallon of milk. The price of milk has gone up 50 cents in the last month alone, and it may rise again in June. Many stores are doing what they can to lower the price, but a lack of dairy cows keeps driving it up. Many of those dairy cows were butchered for meat when milk hit a low, and beef prices went up. Products like ice cream and cheese are also expected go up.
