More Volunteers Needed

Volunteers continue to cut up trees, pick up debris, and cart off destroyed homes in Lancaster county. Wednesday, volunteers focused on rural areas in the county that were in the path of the storms. The first week after the tornado, the volunteer center saw hundreds and hundreds of volunteers line up, and sign up to help. In week two however, those numbers have dwindled. In the last few days, they're averaging about 60 people a day, down from nearly 500 a week ago.

If you're interested in volunteering you can go to the Country Side Alliance Church in Princeton. They begin accepting volunteers at 7:30 in the morning and you can show up anytime after that during the day.. They also need some equipment. So if you have a chain saw or some tools, bring them along.
