NEB Softball: Tuesday Softball Postponed; Rescheduled for April 28
Posted By: Sports
Tuesday’s scheduled softball doubleheader between Nebraska and Drake has been postponed. The teams will now play a single game on Tuesday, April 28 at 7 p.m. at Bowlin Stadium.
The decision to postpone the game was made early to accommodate Drake, which had not yet left for Lincoln and plays at Iowa State on Wednesday. The rescheduled game on Tuesday, April 28 will be a single game instead of a doubleheader because the Bulldogs play a doubleheader with Creighton in Omaha the next day.
Fans who purchased a ticket for the originally scheduled doubleheader can bring that ticket to earn entry into the rescheduled game on April 28. The Huskers’ next home game is Friday, April 17 against Northwestern. The next day, the Huskers host the World’s Largest Softball Tailgate, which features a free tailgate at 10 a.m. and free admission into the Nebraska-Northwestern game at 1 p.m.
With the postponement, Nebraska is off until traveling to Purdue this weekend for a three-game series on Friday, Saturday and Sunday in West Lafayette, Ind.
