Huskers Unveil Game Times, TV for 2015-16
Lincoln – Nebraska announced its 2015-16 national television schedule and nearly all of its women’s basketball game times for the season on Tuesday, following the Big Ten Network’s announcement of its year-long TV plans for the conference.

The Huskers, who enter their third season at Pinnacle Bank Arena in pursuit of their fifth consecutive NCAA Tournament bid, will play as many as eight games on BTN during the Big Ten Conference regular season, while adding a non-conference appearance at California on the Pac-12 Network.

Season tickets for Nebraska women’s basketball can be purchased now at, with reserved seats for the Huskers’ 20 home games at Pinnacle Bank Arena available for just $180. Season tickets start as low as $90 for adults and $40 for youth and seniors, making Nebraska women’s basketball the best value in Husker sports.

Nebraska is set for its first BTN appearance on Sunday, Jan. 3, when the Huskers travel to Northwestern. Tip-off with the Wildcats, who also advanced to the 2015 NCAA Tournament, is set for 1:30 p.m.

Four days later, the Big Red will be back on BTN when the Huskers take on defending Big Ten champion Maryland in College Park. Tip-off with the Terrapins, who have made back-to-back NCAA Women’s Final Four appearances, is set for Thursday, Jan. 7 at 6 p.m.

Nebraska will play its first home game of the season on BTN when the Huskers take on Rutgers on Saturday, Jan. 16. Tip time for the clash with the Scarlet Knights, who advanced to the 2015 NCAA Tournament second round, is set for 5:30 p.m. at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

The Huskers will tangle with Penn State on Groundhog’s Day with another BTN telecast. Tip-off on Tuesday, Feb. 2, is set for 7 p.m. Nebraska will be back on BTN for its next appearance at Pinnacle Bank Arena, a Valentine’s Day battle with Michigan State. Tip-off with the Spartans on Sunday, Feb. 14, is set for 3 p.m. in Nebraska’s annual Pink Game to promote cancer awareness.

Nebraska returns to BTN on Thursday, Feb. 18 for a road test at Ohio State. Tip-off with the Buckeyes in Columbus, Ohio, is scheduled for 5 p.m.

The Huskers, who play their final three regular-season games at home for the first time in 20 years, could be back on BTN to open the home stand on either Feb. 20 or 21. The game date, time and television designation will not be announced until later in the conference season. After a non-televised Wednesday night meeting with Indiana in Lincoln on Feb. 24, the Huskers will celebrate Senior Day on Sunday, Feb. 28 against Northwestern. The rematch with the Wildcats is another BTN wildcard selection, with potential television and tip time likely announced in early February.

In addition to the potential of eight nationally televised games on BTN, the Huskers will appear on the Pac-12 Network when they travel to Berkeley to collide with California on Saturday, Dec. 12. Tip time with the Golden Bears is set for 7 p.m. (CT).

Nebraska’s game at defending national champion UConn on Saturday, Nov. 28, also will be available on ESPN3. Tip-off time with the Huskies at the XL Center in Hartford, Conn., is set for Noon (CT).
