Huskers Announce TV, Online Streaming Schedule

The Nebraska wrestling team will make one dual appearance on the Big Ten Network this season, while making 10 dual showings on BTN Plus before the Big Ten Championships, March 5-6, in Iowa City, Iowa. The lone BTN appearance for the Huskers will be their Feb. 12 home dual against Northwestern at 8 p.m. (CT).

Notes about Nebraska’s 2015-16 TV and Online Streaming Schedule:

  • All nine of Nebraska’s conference duals will be presented by BTN in some aspect. One dual will be televised on BTN, while eight duals will be streamed on BTN Plus.

  • Two non-conference duals will be streamed on BTN Plus: NU’s Nov. 21 matchup against Wyoming and the Feb. 6 dual against NC State.

  • Nebraska’s 11 appearances on BTN platforms are its most in a season since joining the Big Ten in 2011.
    • 2014-15: six total (one on BTN)
    • 2013-14: eight total (two on BTN)
    • 2012-13: nine total (one on BTN)
    • 2011-12: nine total (two on BTN)

  • The first day of the Ken Kraft Midlands Championships, set for Dec. 29, will be streamed on BTN Plus. The second day of action on Dec. 30 will be televised on BTN.

  • The NWCA National Duals, set for either Feb. 21 or 22, will be televised on the Big Ten Network. The top eight Big Ten teams, based on the NWCA Coaches Poll Rankings on Feb. 14, will participate in the event along with eight non-Big Ten teams.

  • All three sessions of the Big Ten Championships will be streamed on BTN Plus. The final session will be televised live on BTN, starting at 3 p.m. The conference tournament is slated for March 5-6 at Carver-Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City, Iowa.
