Nebraska AG Summit at Concordia University highlights its new program

An agriculture summit was held at Concordia University on Friday, and Governor Ricketts stopped by to encourage students to join the program.

More than 50 high schoolers were there to see what Concordia University has to offer.

Current Concordia students hoped to show the students how joining the agriculture program can change their life.

“Basically just kind of teaching high school students what college education has to offer them in the world of agriculture and basically highlighting who they are going to want to come to a Concordia,” Madison Baker a Concordia Freshman said.

For students, experts held sessions in animal, plant & food sciences as well as agribusiness.
