Nebraska hospital escapee found in Colorado

Cell phone tracking helped Colorado police find and arrest a man who fled custody last weekend while at a Lexington, Nebraska hospital.

Authorities say 26-year-old Jacob Wolsleben was arrested Wednesday after a chase in eastern Colorado while driving an SUV stolen from Ravenna, Nebraska.

The hunt for Wolsleben involved police in Nebraska, Wyoming and Colorado and federal authorities. Dawson County, Neb., Sheriff Gary Reiber says Verizon Wireless helped in the search by tracking Wolsleben's cell phone use in Colorado and Wyoming on Wednesday.

Before his escape, Wolsleben was being held on several charges out of Buffalo, Dawson and Lincoln counties, including burglary and writing bad checks.
