Nebraska Native Killed In Iraq
One of the 15 soldiers who were killed over the weekend in Iraq was a York, Nebraska native. 28-year-old Staff Sergeant Daniel Bader was in the chinock helicopter that was shot down near Fallujah. He was part of a group that was heading home for a two week vacation.
Daniel Bader leaves behind a wife and a 14 month old daughter. Bader was born in York, Nebraska on his grandmother's 26th wedding anniversary. He then moved to Colorado when he was nine.
Daniel's wish was to be buried next to his grandfather in Palmer, Nebraska.
