A new bill could prevent minors from receiving alcohol charges.
Here’s how it would work: if an underage drinker seeks medical help for themselves or a friend and is cooperative with authorities, they could be given limited legal immunity.
The bill is still in committee. If the bill becomes a law, Nebraska would join 21 other states with similar policies.
