New Robotic Tool To Be Used By City Of Lincoln

It's a good day for our local bomb squad. Thursday morning they got to unveil a new piece of equipment that will help them handle explosives at a safe distance. The Mini Andros Hazardous Device Robot is the new tool. It's the same type of robot now being used in Iraq by American soldiers. The robot can climb and maneuver from up to 12-hundred feet away. A bomb squad technician operates the robot on a computer that can see and hear everything the robot sees. It's a tool the city of Lincoln has been waiting for.
