From ABC News:

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is investigating complaints from owners of the popular Ford Explorer.

At issue—–the smell of exhaust gas inside the SUV.

There have been 154 complaints of Explorers sold between 2011 and 2015.

One driver said the odor caused a low–speed crash.

It’s unclear how many vehicles are being investigated, but according to Autodata Corp, Ford sold more than 950–thousand Explorers during that time.
