N.L. beats A.L. 8-0

The National League beat the American League 8-0 in the MLB All-Star Game Tuesday night in Kansas City. The N.L. scored 5 runs in the first inning off A.L. starter Justin Verlander. Pablo Sandoval hit a three RBI triple and Melky Cabrera blasted a two run homer to help the N.L. win its third straight All-Star Game, giving the N.L. home field advantage in this year's World Series.
