Lincoln Police say Tuesday afternoon a woman walked into the IGA Market in Air Park and headed to the Pinnacle Bank inside.

Then, they say, the woman showed a threatening note to the bank teller demanding cash and flashed a knife.

That’s when, Police say, the employee handed over money and the woman took off.

Officers say the suspect is a white woman in her mid 20’s who may be driving a gray Pontiac.  She is described as 5’5" 160lbs with dirty blonde hair.

Neighbors we spoke with say this robbery- in their own back yard- has them worried.

"I mean, if they can come here, what’s stopping them from coming down to where I live?! I just cant believe it," Joann Loos said.

No one was hurt during the robbery. Police will not give an amount of money taken. Employee’s didn’t catch a license plate. No word on surveillance video, or if there is a dye pack in the money.
