NU Freshman Report To Camp Solich

Lincoln–The future of Nebraska football officially reported to head coach Frank Solich and the NU coaching staff on Tuesday.  “This day for coaches is like Christmas, you get to open up your presents,” said NU defensive coordinator Craigh Bohl.  “These guys have been recruited and you've anticipated their arrival for a long time, now there here.”

After moving in, the newcomers underwent a physical and then checked out their helmets, shoulder pads, shoes, etc… at Schulte Fieldhouse. “We have a total of 15 checking in today,” said head coach Frank Solich.  “Of course, Curt Dukes (QB) and Demorrio Williams (LB) already are on campus from that class.  We think it's an excellent class and so we're anxious to get rolling with them.

The freshman will take part in performance testing on Wednesday morning and then go through their first practice as Cornhuskers Wednesday afternoon.

The varsity reports to camp on Friday, August 2.
