NU Vball Sweeps Mid. Tennessee
LINCOLN, Neb. Jordan Larson led Nebraska to a sweep of Middle Tennessee State tonight at the Nebraska Invitational.
Larson had 19 digs and 10 kills in the match as the Cornhuskers improved to 3-and-oh on the year. Four Nebraska players had at least three blocks, including seven by All-American Sarah Pavan and five by sophomore Amanda Gates. Dani Mancuso and Tracy Stalls both had 10 kills apiece for Nebraska. Middle Tennessee was playing its first-ever match against a Number-One team but kept it close in game three. Middle Tennessee trailed 11-to-8 before the Huskers took over with a six-to-one scoring run. Victoria Monasterolo lead the Blue Raiders with six kills. Copyright 2006 Associated Press.
