Update: Officers injured in Lincoln trailer park
A Lincoln man was arrested for injuring two police officers Tuesday afternoon had several kinds of weapons inside his home.
Police officer Katie Flood says Gary Grana, 32, was arrested for 2nd degree assault on an officer, firing a weapon in city limits, failure to comply and resisting arrest.
Police say at around 12:30 p.m. officers were called to the Center Court Mobile Home Park at 3500 N. 39th St. Circle after reports of a man with a crossbow.
Police say Grana would not cooperate with officers. One officer received a deep cut to the back of his hand from a screw sticking out on the porch during the scuffle with Grana. He was taken to the hospital to be treated. Another officer was had minor injuries.
No one was injured by the crossbow. Officer Flood says neighbors have complained about Grana in the past and were told to call police if they saw him using the crossbow outside. Police searched Grana's home and found the crossbow, a blowgun, throwing stars, and other weapons.
