Officials Work Around the Clock to Reopen I-80

Governor Mike Johanns says Nebraska Department of Roads personnel will work around-the-clock, if necessary, to get Interstate 80 reopened near Ogallala. Traffic has been re-routed since two approaches to bridges were washed out Saturday by flash flooding. The roads department has personnel en route to Ogallala Monday to begin their inspections. A department spokeswoman says they also want to get the interstate reopened, but not at the cost of safety.
