Omaha Nighthawks could be moving to TD Ameritrade

Officially, the Omaha Nighthawks are a team without a stadium, but the United Football League says that won't be the case much longer.

Plans call for the Nighthawks to play this fall at the new TD Ameritrade Park downtown. Roger Dixon, president and CEO of the agency that operates the stadium, said this week that the team hasn't signed a contract yet. UFL spokesman Michael Preston said the team is planning to sign. He didn't give a reason for the holdup.

The Nighthawks played to sold out crowds of 24,000 at Rosenblatt Stadium in their inaugural season. The 2011 UFL season is scheduled to begin in August.
