Omaha Royals target of thieves

Omaha police are investigating reports of some unsportsmanlike conduct. Police believe someone has been sneaking into the locker rooms of Omaha Royals baseball players and their opponents during games and making off with players' cash and personal items.

Police reports show that on May 3, an iPod and $550 was stolen from a player's locker, and another $100 was taken from the lockers of two visiting players. On May 10, police say someone went into the Royals' locker room and took $225 cash out of a player's pocket. Police say the Royals organization reimbursed the victims. No arrests have been made.
