Pelini gets raise, What do you think

Nebraska football coach Bo Pelini is getting a $425,000 raise as the Cornhuskers switch to an expanded Big 10 conference. Pelini's new contract includes a base salary of $2.775 million and an additional $100,000 each year until the contract expires in 2015. The deal was signed April 6. Pelini was hired by Nebraska in 2008.

The Cornhuskers have gone 30-12 under his leadership. Included in Pelini's contract are bonuses for playoff appearances. He'd get $100,000 for the winning a division title, $200,000 for reaching the Big Ten championship and $350,000 for the win. A bowl appearance would give Pelini a $150,000 bonus, with another $100,000 for a BCS bowl. The BCS championship game is worth $350,000, and Pelini would get $650,000 for a win.
