Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Lincoln

A United Airlines jet was forced to make an emergency landing in Lincoln Tuesday morning. A Boeing 737, carrying more than 90 people, had one of it's engines break down after taking off from Denver. The plane was bound for Baltimore and had to be diverted to Lincoln causing some tense moments for passengers.

Minutes after taking off, United Airlines says the number 1 engine overheated, forcing pilots to shut it down. The 90 passengers had to wait in Lincoln for another plane to come pick them up and continue them on their way to Baltimore.
