Police arrest man for door-to-door scam

A man is behind bars after police said he tried to solicit products without a peddler’s license. 

Police said 29-year-old Desmond Clayton, of Pittsburgh, was going door-to-door working for Universal Global Stars. One woman asked to see his peddler’s license. When he refused, she called police.

Lincoln Police arrested him for soliciting without a permit.
