There was an attempted robbery overnight at a North Lincoln mini mart.

Lincoln police say around 11:45 last night, a man walked into the MIlls Squeegee near 27th and Superior.  He bought a pack of cigarettes, then put his hand in his coat and pointed it at the cashier, acting like he had a gun and demanding money.

Police say the clerk said 'No,' and that the drawer couldn't be reopened.  The clerk also said people were outside and watching.

The man left.  He got into a gray or silver Chevy SUV with no front license plate.  He is a black male in his 50s, last seen wearing a brown jacket and sunglasses.
