Police say two convenience stores were robbed overnight in north Lincoln.

Police were called to the Mills Squeegee near N. 27th and Superior streets a little before 1 a.m. Monday. Police say two suspects walked into the store and demanded cash. Both suspects are described as being 6–feet tall with medium builds. One was wearing a green sweatshirt and black athletic shorts. The other man was wearing black clothing. They say both suspects were wearing masks and armed with a knife and a handgun.

About an hour later, police say they were called to the Kwik Shop near 33rd and Holdrege. They say two men with similar descriptions from the robbery earlier entered the store and demanded money from the employees.

Police say the suspects made off with cash, cigarettes, and a clerk's cell phone. Police believe the two robberies are related.
