Police investigate south Lincoln car break-ins

Lincoln police say several residents near 14th & Old Cheney found items stolen out of their cars Tuesday morning.

Police say one of the cars had a window broken. It happened on Aberdeen and Inverness Road south of Old Cheney in Lincoln. Police say at least eight vehicles had been broken into about 2:30 this morning. Police say the suspects targeted cars that were left unlocked. One car had a GPS device stolen.
