Police investigating an overnight robbery at CVS

Police are investigating a robbery that happened at the CVS Pharmacy located near 14th and Superior just after 9 p.m. Monday.

A suspect entered the store and claimed he was armed with a weapon and demanded cash from the employee. No weapon was displayed. Police say the suspect fled on foot and a perimeter was set up by officers but a K-9 track attempt was unsuccessful.

Police say the suspect is a black male, 50-55 years of age, about 6′ tall, with a slender build. They say the suspect was last seen wearing a dark colored stocking cap, black coat and shirt with designer blue jeans that had embroidery on the front and back.

Officers say the suspect walks with a slight limp and is missing teeth.

No injuries have been reported at this time.
