Lincoln police say three men robbed a U-Stop near 84th & Cornhusker early Thursday.

Lincoln police say just before 2:30 this morning three men wearing bandanas busted into the convenience store brandishing a silver gun.  Authorities say they stole cash and cigarettes and then fled the scene.

Police say there was at least one customer in the store at the time of the robbery.  Officers arrived at the scene with a K–9 unit and combed the surrounding fields.  The K–9 did pick up a scent which led officers on a track where they found evidence the suspects dropped.

The suspects were last seen leaving south from the store on foot.  There were no injuries during the robbery.  Police are still searching for the suspects.

The Nebraska State Patrol assisted with the search with their helicopter.  Lancaster County Sheriffs deputies also helped in the search.
