Police make arrest in Kwik Shop robberies
Lincoln Police have arrested a man for an early morning robbery and believe he maybe connected to a number of other robberies across town. Police say the man's involvement in the other robberies are what led to his arrest Thursday.
At around 3:30 Thursday morning Lincoln police responded to the Days Inn on west O street for a robbery that had just occurred while on scene one of the Sergents gave officers the description of a vehicle used by another suspect they believed was involved in a number of robberies at Kwik Shops around town.
That car was spotted not long after in the area. After searching the vehicle police found a black handgun, money scattered around in the back of the car as well as a black hoodie, sunglasses, bandanna and blue surgical gloves used in the robberies.
Police arrested 27-year-old Michael Boston, 23-year-old Gabriel Loving, who was driving the car, and her passenger 30-year-old Lisa Houston. The clerk at the Days Inn later identified Boston as the man responsible for Thursday morning's robbery.
