Powerball Will Go On As Planned, Despite Problems

The powerball drawing will go on as planned Wednesday even though ticket sales came to a complete halt. There are about 950 retailers across the state and on Sunday night, not one was able to sell lottery tickets. Now technicians are scrambling to get everything back up and running.

Only 200 machines across the state have been fixed. Lottery officials say they had a rare satellite failure. It stopped communications with retail machines and the lottery processing center.
