LINCOLN, NE, September 13, 2016—Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers recently partnered with KLKN’s Channel 8 and Latsch’s for its 8th annual school supplies drive. From July 18 through August 7, donors received a free 22oz freshly squeezed lemonade when school supplies were donated. In addition to donating new and packaged school supplies, customers were able to provide support by adding any dollar amount to their ticket while ordering.

Through these efforts, enough school supplies were donated to provide more than 3,400 students with the tools they need to start the school year off right and over $8,650 in monetary donations were collected and given to Lincoln public and private schools.

“We are humbled by the generosity of everyone in our community. Because of you, children who may not have the school supplies they needed to start the school year, now do.” says Jennifer Jones, proud owner of the Lincoln and Grand Island franchise. “Education plays a vital role in shaping the lives of our children, and together we are able to provide students with the tools they need to be successful.”
