Removing The Snow

Monday night's snowfall is leading to piles and piles of snow along Lincoln's roads. Crews have been working since Monday on snow routes and bus routes. All the snow from the street is being piled on top of the snow leftover from last week because there's really nothing else the city can do with it. The city began plowing residential areas late Tuesday afternoon. If cars are parked along the street, trucks will simply go around. While the city hasn't started a residential parking ban, crews with the city say people should move cars from the street. This will speed up the process of clearing the snow.
