Lincoln police are investigating another robbery right here in the capitol city.

It happened just after 2:30 this morning outside The Salvation Army, just north of 27th and Holdrege.

Officers say two people in a car were playing ‘Pokemon Go’ when a black male approached them, pointed a gun, and demanded money.

When the victims said they didn’t have any, the suspect demanded their wallets.

"When the suspect didn’t find anything in the wallet, he threw it back into the vehicle and left the area on foot," said Captain Jeri Roeder with Lincoln Police.

Police were immediately called to the scene with a K-9, but were unsuccessful in locating the suspect.

They say they’ll continue to investigate and locate the suspect.
