Robbery suspect shot by officer has died

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) Omaha police say a robbery suspect shot by an officer has died.
Authorities say 39-year-old Danny Elrod died at an Omaha hospital. Officers were dispatched to a business yesterday evening on a report of an armed robbery.
A police spokesman says an altercation broke out as officers attempted to arrest Elrod, and one officer shot him.
