Update: Lincoln Fire and Rescue crews responded to a rollover accident Tuesday night.

It happened just after 10 near Sun Valley Blvd and west O.

Authorities say the car hit a median and rolled over.

We spoke to an eyewitness that said someone in the red SUV threw a drink at her car and then sped away.

Police say the driver overcorrected while making a sharp turn causing the vehicle to hit the median and rollover.

“Just a good reminder at night, make sure you’re wearing your seatbelts. This was a pretty lucky situation with the number of occupants we had in the vehicle. No one was seriously hurt.” says Captain. Dan Ripley.

Three people were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Fire and rescue officials urge everyone to drive carefully, wear seatbelts, and avoid other distractions while on the road.

“At night it’s always easier to slow down, take you time, and make sure you’re navigating you turns appropriately, you’re not over driving them as you go into them.” says Ripley.
