Ruling In 5 Year Old Persinger Case
We first brought you the story of Zoi Persinger a few months ago. In July 1999, the 25-year old woman was driving her car through a Southwest Lincoln intersection when she was hit by a Friend Nebraska ambulance. The ambulance ran a red light going about 50-55 miles per hour. A Lancaster County District Judge found the ambulance driver, Terry Beck, two-thirds responsible for Zoi's death. The ruling was made on February 13th, and Zoi's mother, Micki Anderson was awarded 250,000 dollars.
