Rural Lancaster County Fire

A fire reduced a rural Lancaster County family's home to rubble. An off-duty fire fighter spotted the blaze west of Highway 77 on Bluff road. No one was home at the time and no one was injured. However, the one-story house was almost completely destroyed. The person who called in the fire said it could be seen for miles. Fire crews from Raymond, Waverly, and Ceresco responded to the call. Neighbors say the family was in the process of moving into the home, but weren't planning to stay there last night. Damage is estimated at around $120,000.
