The Saltdogs signed RHP Ryan O’Sullivan, a former fourth-round pick who sports a career 3.18 ERA, along with C Ryan Wiggins and outfielders Chase Harris and Jon Smith.

O’Sullivan joins the ‘Dogs pitching staff coming off his best season as a professional. The 25-year old went 2-3 with a 2.39 ERA and four saves for the Double-A Reading Phillies in 2015 before pitching for Estrellas de Oriente in the prestigious Dominican Winter League.

A fourth-round draft pick of the Dodgers in 2011, O’Sullivan was sent to the Phillies in 2012 to complete the Joe Blanton trade.

O’Sullivan also pitched in the Arizona Fall League in 2014 with other top prospects.

Wiggins, a 24-year old from Seattle, hit .229 with three home runs and 30 RBI as Lincoln’s back-up catcher in 2015.

Harris joins the Saltdogs from the Phillies organization, where he hit .250 over his first two professional seasons. The 24-year old from Boise, Idaho was selected in the 14th round out of the University of New Mexico.

Smith was acquired by the Saltdogs in a trade with Trois-Rivieres earlier this offseason. In his lone full season, the 27-year old from Tennessee Wesleyan College slugged 16 home runs in 2013.

The Saltdogs roster now stands at 25 players: 11 pitchers; three catchers; six infielders and five outfielders. Players report to Lincoln for spring training May 6.
