Sandoval Trial Starts Monday

The trial of the accused ringleader in the Norfolk bank slayings is scheduled to begin Monday. Jose Sandoval is charged with five counts of first-degree murder for the shooting deaths of four U-S Bank employees and a customer. The case is being heard about 90 miles from the scene of last year's shootings. If convicted, he could face the death penalty. The trial was moved out of Madison County at the request of Sandoval's attorney, Harry Moore. Moore said it would be hard to find an impartial jury in the Norfolk area.
