School Bond Issue

The Lincoln school board is going to ask voters to pass a 250 million dollar bond issue. The board voted unanimously to have a special election in February. The bond issue will happen without raising the tax levy. Being proposed are renovations and additions in several schools, a new middle school in the Fallbrook development in northwest Lincoln, new elementary schools in both the north and south parts of the city and replacing Arnold Elementary School in Air Park. The special election is set for February 14th.
