Search resumes for missing boater at Neb. lake

Authorities closed Fremont Lake 20 to recreational use as the search resumed for a 72-year-old Oakland man who went missing while testing out his boat on the lake. John Husar has been missing since Saturday evening.

Dodge County Sheriff Steve Hespen said Monday that searchers will use a boat to patrol the lake perimeter and make some passes across it. Hespen says other volunteers will walk the lake shore.

On Sunday, searchers dragged the lake and used sonar in hopes of finding Husar's body. Witnesses have said they saw Husar as his boat passed them Saturday on Lake 20, but a few minutes later they saw the boat circling, empty.

Hespen says no one saw Husar go into the water.
