Seventh Annual Walk For Life

The seventh annual Walk For Life was held at Holmes Lake park today.

The money goes to benefit the Lincoln Crisis Pregnancy Center, whose mission is to offer support and guidance to expectant mothers free of charge.

Some women told their stories of how the center had been there for them during a difficult time. Officials say it's their goal to help. Pat McCarthy with the Lincoln Crisis Pregnancy Center says, “we want to strengthen families. I think that's our whole goal is just to strengthen families any way we can. And to provide options for girls who come to us in a crisis pregnancy situation.”

The center is non–profit and they see about 400 girls every month.
