Several Lincoln businesses reeling from burst pipe

Several Lincoln businesses are devastated by water damage from a burst water pipe.

Store owners at Meridian Park in northeast Lincoln say an underground sprinkler system pipe burst overnight Sunday causing thousands of dollars in damage.

Several stores closed Monday to clean up the mess.  The owner Nebraska Sport, a sporting good store, says his store had about 6 inches of water on the floor.  The owner of Murray's For Men of Stature says he will have to close for a month to assess damage to clothing in his store.

NAI FMA, who manage the property, are working to correct the pipe burst.
