Shrine Bowl Saturday

More than 60 of Nebraska's best high school football players will take to the field at Memorial Stadium on Saturday, June 19th for the 52nd annual Shrine Bowl. They will be playing to benefit the thousands of patients (300 or so in Nebraska alone) who receive quality health care free of charge through Shriners Hospitals. Players from Omaha, Lincoln, Howells, Columbus, Gothenburg, Grand Island and many other towns across the state will take part. We hope you can join us. Game time is 6:30 p.m.

A reminder, we will be kicking off our game day activities with our annual Shrine Bowl parade in Havelock. The location is on the northeast corner of Lincoln. The parade features several area high school bands as well as the Masonic All-Star Band. Members are selected specifically to play for Shrine Bowl activities and will perform during half-time at the game. The parade will also feature Shrine clowns, specialty vehicles and floats. Step off is scheduled for 11:00 a.m.
