Small Earthquake Felt in Southeast Nebraska
Some residents of the midwest including southeast Nebraska woke up Friday morning to a little shakin' goin' on. Believe it or not, it was an earthquake
As you walk around downtown Auburn in Nemaha county, you can't help but bump into people talking about the earthquake. 10 miles to the east at the Cooper Nuclear Power plant near Brownville, they also felt a rumble, but it wasn't strong enough to set off the plant's seismic alarms.
There are no reports of any injuries or major damage from the quake. Most of the reports here in Nebraska came from Nemaha county, which was just about 20 miles from the epicenter.
