Solich, Cook Announce Punishments For Top Athletes

Lincoln–After being tickete for disturbing the peace and failing to comply with a police order Nebraska volleyball player Greichaly Cepero will sit out of Wednesday's match at Oklahoma and won't return to game-action until NU head coach John Cook feels it's time.  Coach Cook also says Cepero, the 2000 NCAA Volleyball Player of the Year, is embarrassed by the incident that took place early Sunday morning at the apartment of NU starting quarterback Jammal Lord.

Lord, who was also ticketed for disturbing the peace, will not miss any game time and will be in the starting lineup when the Huskers play at Oklahoma State this Saturday.  NU head coach Frank Solich says the ticket is not enough to warrant Lord being suspended or knocked from his starting position.  Solich also says the junior from New Jersey is being disciplined within the program and will also have to attend a support group because of the incident.  Solich also said
