On this anniversary of the start of the war in Iraq, 'Nebraska' soldiers who lost their lives there are also being remembered. The last several months have been sort of a blur for Kristen Swisher. Her husband, Chris, was killed in Iraq, October ninth. “As long as he was doing what he loved and died doing what he loved, there's no bitterness at all.”, Kristen says. “You can't imagine what it's like when something happens like that. You find friends you never knew you had.” Friends like President Bush, who met with soldier's families recently at Fort Polk, Louisiana, where Chris had been based. Kristen said the President spoke to everyone, individually, and when he gave her a hug, she couldn't stop crying. Kristen has also received two letters and a certificate from the president.
