Some Shell Out $95 To See Spring Game

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) – The week of the sold-out Bruce Springsteen concert in Omaha last month, you could call a local ticket broker and pay $39 for a seat.

For Saturday's sold-out Nebraska spring football game, that same broker is getting $95 a ticket.

Ticket Express owner Chad Carr says he's not one to judge the craziness of Husker fans. He says he's just trying to keep tickets in stock.

Nebraska isn't the only school drawing big crowds this spring. Alabama had 78,200 turn out last Saturday. That after the Tide set a record of 92,138 last year.

Nebraska's game was declared a sellout last week. The $95 price on the secondary ticket market is more than customers would pay this week for regular-season games against New Mexico State ($69), Baylor ($85) and Colorado ($85).
