Southwest grad Logan Foster transferring to Husker baseball from Texas A&M

Logan Foster is returning to Lincoln.

The former Southwest star tells Channel 8 he’s transferring to Nebraska baseball from Texas A&M. He follows new Nebraska head coach Will Bolt to the Huskers. Bolt recruited Foster as an assistant with the Aggies.

Foster will have to sit out a season before returning as a redshirt senior in 2021.

At 5-foot-10, 190-pounds, Foster batted .285 with 33 doubles, 19 home runs, 101 RBIs and 11 stolen bases to go with a .464 slugging percentage and .357 on-base percentage with the Aggies in three seasons.

While a Southwest Silver Hawk, Foster was a two-time All-Nebraska selection.
