St. Elizabeth’s embraces online learning on-site

Working full time and getting an education at the same time can be quite a task.  That's why St. Elizabeth's is taking the classroom to their employees.

With the help of Bellevue University, the hospital is providing a non–traditional way of furthering their education.

They offer a bachelor's and master's degree program in a mixed format.  Some of the program is online, other portions are offered at the hospital.

St. Elizabeth employee Marie O'Shea–Creal has her associate's degree but says she wants to go even further.  “If I have a really busy day, I work 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  I might have class at 5 p.m. on site.  I can just come from work and right to class and I don't have to worry about being late or where I have to go.”
