Stabbing Incident Sends Victim to Hospital

Lincoln Police aren't yet saying what caused a stabbing in Lincoln early Sunday evening. They have arrested a 35-year old man, who was acquainted with the victim. It happened at the 17-hundred block of Knox street. Witnesses say the two men started to argue inside the home.. At some point the argument turned violent and the fight moved outside. That's when police believe 35-year old Daniel Fisher stabbed the victim one time in the abdomen. The 28-year old victim underwent emergency surgery at Bryan L-G-H West. He has been upgraded to serious condition. Fisher was arrested at the scene.. He has been charged with first degree assault.
